Ener Quote (also referred to as “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a B2B SaaS application for PV + ESS (solar and storage) simulation, quoting, and proposal generation for commercial and industrial customers.

2. Accounts

To use the application, you must create an account with a valid email address and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities occurring under your account.

3. Subscription and Payments

We offer a FREE tier and paid PRO subscriptions. Payments are processed by our payment partner Paddle. We do not store full card details on our servers.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to reverse engineer the platform, or use the application for any unlawful purpose.

5. Disclaimer

Simulation and financial results are provided for decision support only and should not be treated as financial or engineering guarantees. You remain responsible for final engineering design, customer contracts, and investment decisions.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ener Quote is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

7. Information We Collect

We collect and process:

Account information: email address and a securely hashed password.
Payment information: processed directly by Paddle; we do not store full card details.
Usage and simulation data: such as project coordinates, load and hardware parameters, and financial assumptions you enter into the app.

8. How We Use Your Information

To operate and improve our application and calculation engines.
To process subscriptions and send related confirmations and receipts.
To fetch irradiance and weather data from third‑party APIs based on coordinates you provide.
To send product updates, security alerts, and support messages.

9. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with:

Service providers such as Paddle for payment processing and cloud hosting providers.
External data APIs (for example, PVGIS) to retrieve irradiance and related data strictly for your simulations.
Public authorities when required to comply with applicable law.

10. Data Security

We use industry‑standard security practices such as HTTPS for API communication and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your Rights

You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal information by contacting us at support@dothings.one. Deleting your account typically removes associated simulation data, subject to legal retention requirements.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms and this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating this page.
